Cardigan Village is a suburb approx 15km north-west of Ballarat. Cardigan Village is popular due to the land size of properties with a rural outlook. Cardigan Village is accessed via Remembrance Drive.  This Avenue of Honour was planted in memory of those from the district who served in World War One.  The Avenue is the longest in Australia being 22 kilometres in length. Cardigan Village is popular due to its proximity to the Coltman Plaza in Lucas which services a popular, thriving community on the outskirts of Ballarat. This modern shopping centre features a full line Woolworths supermarket and BWS with ample on grade parking. There is an extensive mix of retail, fresh food, fast food, and service-based stores to create a quality shopping destination for the community. This plaza is approx. 6 kms from Ballarat, along Dyson Drive within the Lucas Town Centre.
