Lal Lal is located 23km from Ballarat,14.6kms of Buninyong and is approx. 70kms from Geelong city. Lal Lal Falls is a spectacular waterfall with an impressive drop into a large, rocky gorge, while the Lal Lal Reservoir is the largest storage of water in the Ballarat catchment system and contains almost 60,000 megalitres of water. The reserve features a large grassy area, playground, picnic tables, toilets, and an undercover area to BBQ or sit and relax. Lal Lal has its own hotel and primary school and has small acreage properties scattered about the district.
