Mitchell Park is located to the north of the CBD of Ballarat, only a 16 minute drive. Mitchell Park is not only a residential suburb but a huge commercial suburb, home to Kings Cars, Ballarat Mazda, BMW Ballarat, Ballarat City Honda, Jayco Ballarat and many other larger, commercial companies. The Ballarat Airport is located in Mitchell Park and due to it's land size, has hosted significant events in the past such as Rodeos and Motorsports.
