Mount Rowan is a small extinct volacano on the edge of the city of Ballarat. It is one of the 123 volcanoes in the Ballarat and Daylesford area. Mount Rowan is a rural area, 7.4 kilometres from the CBD of Ballarat. Although Mount Rowan mainly consists of larger properties on land, there is a seconadry school and is close to other primary schools and Stocklands Wendouree.
